NEWS: McDonalds Data breach

HANDS UP IF YOU HAVE BEEN TO McDONALD’s? If so there is a good chance your email has been compromised.

According to news reports from Wall street journal, the Global fast food chain confirmed that it had hired external consultants to investigate unauthorized activity on an internal security platform.

Data has been stolen from systems which are managed by McDonald’s in the US, South Korea and Taiwan. The data included personal information of customers and employees. Writing to US employees, McDonald’s said the breached information included workers, logistics and restaurant information. According to IT pro, the investigation is ongoing in other countries, but so far, additional breaches here are unconfirmed.
